Facet photo tiles are rigid printed tiles that hang on a magnet instead of a nail. You choose the photos, we print them in the UK, and they arrive ready to put straight on the wall — no drill, no nails, no holes.
Because every tile sits on a magnetic mount, nothing about the arrangement is permanent. Swap a photo, move a tile, or rework the whole wall whenever you like.
How the magnet system works
- Stick the mount. Each tile comes with a slim wall mount that fixes with a removable adhesive strip. No tools, no drilling.
- Push the tile on. Every 5 mm tile has a magnet on the back. Hold it up, push, done. Hexagon sets include a spacer so your layout lines up.
- Swap whenever you want. The magnet holds the tile firmly through everyday life, but pulls away in your hand the moment you want it to. The mount stays put; the photos never have to.
When you eventually want the wall back, the mount's strip peels away clean — no holes, no residue, no repainting. That makes photo tiles a genuine option in rented homes, where anything involving a drill isn't.
Shapes, sizes and prices
Three shapes: hexagon, square and round. Price depends on the size you pick, not the shape.

Hexagons are the ones that tessellate into a honeycomb, so they're the usual choice for a cluster. Squares grid up neatly. Round tiles are always a single photo each.
One photo per tile — or one photo across several
There are two ways to build a wall.
A photo on every tile. Pick a different image for each one. This is the usual choice for a family cluster, and it's the arrangement that stays interesting longest, because any single tile can be swapped without touching the rest.
One photo split across a set. A single image is divided across several tiles, with the gaps between them becoming part of the picture. Hexagons split across 3, 4, 5 or 7 tiles; squares across 2, 4, 6 or 9. Round tiles are single only.
Three starting points, if you'd rather not begin from a blank wall:

What the tiles are made of
Rigid 5 mm foam-PVC board, printed directly rather than laminated, with a wipe-clean surface. They're light — a fraction of the weight of a framed print — which is what lets the magnetic mount hold them without any fixing into the wall.
Every order includes the wall mounts and the alignment spacer, free. There is nothing else to buy and nothing to source separately.
Choosing photos that print well
You can upload up to ten photos in a single visit, straight from your phone or computer. If you'd rather not use your own, there's a curated collection to pick from instead.
The thing that decides print quality is resolution — how many pixels the photo has relative to how big you're printing it. A modern phone photo is comfortably enough for any tile size. Older photos, screenshots, images saved from social media, or pictures that have been cropped hard can fall short.
You don't have to work this out yourself. As you design, the tile shows a live print-quality reading and a close-up preview at true print scale, so you can see what you're actually getting before you buy. If a photo is too low-resolution to print acceptably, we'll tell you rather than let it through.
Delivery, and what happens if something's wrong
Every tile is printed and finished to order in the UK, and dispatched within five working days. Free UK delivery on orders over £75; £5.95 below that.
Five-year no-fade guarantee. If the print fades within five years of delivery, we'll reprint the tile free.
If an order turns up faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we'll replace it or refund you in full, including delivery — just send us a photo within 14 days. Common questions
Will the tiles fall off?
No. The magnet holds the tile firmly through everyday life — doors slamming, people brushing past — but releases the moment you deliberately pull it away.
Can I use these in a rented flat?
Yes. That's the main reason people choose them. The mount fixes with a removable strip that peels away clean, leaving no holes and no residue.
Can I change the photos later?
The mounts stay on the wall, so adding to an arrangement later is straightforward — order new tiles and push them on. Individual tiles are printed with their image, so a new photo means a new tile rather than a reprint of an existing one.
How many tiles do I need?
Three is enough to read as a deliberate cluster. Seven fills the space above a sofa or a bed. The design tool has a wall-space box where you can enter your actual wall dimensions and see the arrangement to scale before deciding.
Do you print anything other than photos?
Anything you can upload as an image works — artwork, posters, album covers, illustrations. You'll need the right to use the image, which you confirm at checkout.
